Boothy’s Medical Practice is a family run organisation transforming aged care, offering GPs a new model of practice with exceptional support. We’re seeking passionate General Practitioners to join our innovative on-site clinic model.

 

Our Unique Model:

    • Dedicated on-site accredited GP clinic within an aged care facility

    • Purpose-built consultation and treatment rooms

    • Shift from just traditional bedside rounds to a modern clinic setting

Unmatched Support for GPs:

 

    1. Dedicated Registered Nurse Support:
        • Experienced practice RNs manage triage and prepare relevant clinical information for your review
        • Provide full procedural support during clinical procedures
        • RNs liaise with facility staff, allied health professionals, and pharmacists
        • Assist in care coordination, patient education, and NOK communication
    2. Streamlined Workflow and Comprehensive Support:
        • Utilise our proprietary Meditask software, custom-designed to manage your workload, automate recalls, and streamline clinical handovers
        • Full administrative assistance allowing you to focus on medical decision-making
        • Collaborative relationships with facility staff and allied health professionals
    3. Support from GP colleagues experienced in aged care
        • Leave and sick day coverage

What Sets Us Apart:

 

  1. On-Site Medical Hub: Our clinic serves as a comprehensive medical centre within the aged care environment, equipped with:

      • Fully furnished consultation room

      • Modern treatment room for procedures

      • Diagnostic equipment

      • Vaccine fridge

      • Telehealth capabilities

      • Online access to Medical Director, our proprietary Meditask system, pharmacy, nursing home software and clinical resource subscriptions

         

  2. Unmatched Financial Terms: We offer a highly lucrative package with expected earnings of $400,000 – $500,000 per year:
      • 80% Billings Split: You retain 80% of all standard consultation and after-hours billings.
      • 80% Incentive Split: While standard corporate clinics split government Bulk Billing Incentives 50:50, we pay you 80% of the incentive payment instead of the usual 50% GP cut.
      • Privately Billed Procedures: Earn an 80% split on all privately billed procedures conducted on-site.
      • 100% of GPACI: We pass the full $300 per patient, per year General Practitioner in Aged Care Incentive directly to you.
  3. Advanced On-Site Clinical Procedures: Our purpose-built clinics allow you to expand your scope and privately bill for advanced treatments, including:
      • Skin checks and tissue biopsies
      • Excisions of skin lesions, cysts, lipomas, and skin cancers
      • Targeted cryotherapy (viral warts, keratoses, carcinomas)
      • Iron infusions and musculoskeletal injections
      • Acute minor procedures like abscess drainage and suturing
  4. Flexible Work Arrangements: with customisable schedules and patient loads to maintain your desired work-life balance.
  5. Remote Work Options: Utilise our IT infrastructure and our on-site RN support for telehealth consultations.
  6. Service Agreement: This ensures proper doctor support and cooperation from the RACF.
  7. Enhanced Patient Care:

      • Ability to perform and privately bill for a wide range of procedures on-site

      • Improved continuity of care through our integrated approach

      • Reduced hospitalisations due to timely, accessible care

      • Standardised procedures and protocols
